We have known of only one more item (#1635) for years. R11! The railway line was 300 kilometers long and had to connect Vukovar at the Danubian with the Adria port in Fiume. The railway would have created a connection between central Hungary and the, at that time, most important export market place of the monarchy. But the project was too ambitious and could not be realised completely. The connection to the sea was later realised by the Südbahn-Gesell- schaft. Minimum bid: 2,500 € Vereinigte Gesellschaft für die Vukovar-Fiumaner-Eisenbahn in Pesth Pesth, 01.01.1847, Interims-Actien-Schein auf den Namen über 10 Aktien zu je 200 Gulden, #1021, 26,5 x 38,2 cm, schwarz, türkis, komplett neu aufgezogen und restauriert, Erhaltung VF, ausgestellt auf Herrn Emerich Toth, Faksimile-Signatur Graf Batthyany, Rarität! Uns ist seit Jahren nur ein weiteres Exemplar (#1635) bekannt. R11! Ziel der rund 300 Kilometer langen Bahnlinie war es, Vukovar an der Donau mit dem Adriahafen Fiume zu verbinden. Die Bahn hätte damit eine Verbindung zwischen Zen- tralungarn und dem seinerzeit wichtigsten Außenhandelsplatz der Monarchie geschaf- fen. Doch das Projekt war zu ehrgeizig und konnte am Ende nicht vollständig realisiert werden. Erst durch die Südbahn-Gesellschaft wurde später die Verbindung zum Meer erreicht.
