| Die Bahnlinie wurde 1858 von der Stockton & Darlington Railway Company übernommen. Die Stockton & Darlington Railway Company bestand bis 1863 als eigene Gesellschaft als sie sich mit der North Eastern Railway zusammenschloss. | The railway was bought by the Stockton & Darlington Railway Company in 1858. The Stockton & Darlington Railway existet till 1863 when it was bought by the North Eastern Railway. The name of this company was changed to London and North Eastern Railway in 1923.
