	Das "Landschaft" im Namen der Gesellschaft stand früher für Bodenkreditanstalten. Die ersten dieser Gesellschaften entstanden in der zweiten Hälfte des 18. Jahrhunderts in Schlesien, Pommern, Ost- und Westpreußen. Sie gewährten ländlichen Rittergütern Kredite. Die Pommersche Landschaft wurde 1781 gegründet. Für das Institut hafteten alle adligen Güter der Provinz. Beim vorliegenden Papier diente das Gut Klosin im Pyritzer Creiß als Sicherheit.
