Die New York and New Haven Railroad verband New York City mit New Haven in Connecticut. 1849 verkehrten die ersten Züge. Im Jahr 1872 kam es zur Fusion mit der Hartford and New Haven Railroad zur New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad. | The Hartford and New Haven Railroad Company was incorporated in 1844. The main line ran from New Haven, Connecticut, to Springfield, Massachusetts. The New York and New Haven Railroad was a railroad connecting New York City to New Haven, Connecticut. It opened in 1849. It merged with the Hartford and New Haven Railroad to form the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad in 1872.
