Die Anleihe im Volumen von sechs Millionen Pfund wurde von mehreren Banken platziert: Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corp., Banque de l'Indo-Chine, Deutsch-Asiatische Bank sowie US-Banken unter Führung von J.P. Morgan. Zum einen wurden aus den erlösten Mitteln alte Schulden getilgt, zum anderen aber auch der Bau von weiteren 1.124 Meilen Eisenbahnnetz in den Provinzen Hunan und Hupeh finanziert.
The bond had a volume of six million British pounds. It was issued by several banks: Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corp., Banque de l'Indo-Chine, Deutsch-Asiatische Bank and US-Bank under the leadership of J.P. Morgan. The proceeds were used to pay back old debt and to build additional 1,124 miles of railroad track in the provinces of Hunan and Hupeh.
