Die Baumwollspinnerei wurde 1842 in der schlesischen Stadt Zawiecie im Landkreis Kattowitz gegründet. 1869 erwarben die Gebrüder Adolf und Bernhard Ginsberg aus Berlin die Gesellschaft und erweiterten sie um eine Weberei, Färberei und Textildruckerei. 1878 kam es zur Umwandlung in eine Aktiengesellschaft. 1920 wurde die Firma neu gegründet. Sitz war diesmal Warschau. Die Werksanlagen wurden 1945 von der Zaklady Przemyslu Bawelnianego in Tschenstochau übernommen.
The cotton spinning mill was founded in 1842 in the Silesian city Zawiecie (Katowice). The brothers Adolf and Bernhard Ginsberg who came from Berlin bought the company in 1869. They enlarged the company by a weavery, dyeworks and a textile printer. The company was changed to a joint stock company in 1878. In 1920 the company was founded newly. The new headquarter was in Warsaw. Zaklady Przemyslu Bawelnianego in Częstochowa took over the plant in 1945.
