Zudem ist die Gesellschaft - lässt man einige gebührenpflichtige Schnellstraßen außen vor - die älteste noch existierende Firma. Sie ist heute ein Teil der American International Group (AIG). Ob neben diesen Transferzertifikaten auch Aktien ausgegeben worden sind, ist uns nicht bekannt. |

The insurance company of Pennsylvania was the first insurance company of the United States, which was financed by issuing shares. Furthermore the company is - beside the toll roads - the oldest still existing company in the United States. Today it is a part of the American International Group (AIG). We do not know, if beside this transfer certificates stock certificates do exist as well. |
