| Die Gesellschaft wurde 1871 als Ferrarese Land Reclamation Company in Großbritannien gegründet. Kurze Zeit darauf wurde sie bereits in eine italienische Firma umgewandelt. Ziel war es, Land und Seen im Po-Delta zu erwerben, zu drainieren, zu bewässern und den Getreideanbau voranzutreiben. Die Gesellschaft existiert heute noch. | ||||
| The company was incorporated in Great Britain as Ferrarese Land Reclamation Company in 1871. It became an Italian company soon after incorporation. The goal was to acquire land and lakes in the marhy land of the Po Delta next to Ferrara, improve the land by drainage, irrigation and to develop its crop production. The company exists still today. | ||||
