 Die Gesellschaft wurde 1888 gegründet, um das Clearing für Commodity-Kontrakte an der Londoner Börse zu übernehmen. Die Aktien waren an der London Stock Exchange notiert, bis die Gesellschaft 1951 von United Dominion Trust übernommen wurde. Ab 1971 firmierte das Unternehmen als International Commodities Clearing House ICCH und ab 1980 erwarb ein Konsortium von sechs britischen Banken die Gesellschaft. 2003 fusionierte die Firma dann mit Clearnet SA zur LCH Clearnet Group. Diese ist der zweitgrößte Clearer von Anleihen und Repos weltweit, und hat im Rate Swap Markt einen Anteil von mehr als 50 Prozent.
Histoire (Anglais)
 The company was incorporated in 1888 to clear commodities contracts in London. The shares of the company were listed at the London Stock Exchange, until the company was acquired by United Dominions Trust in 1951. The name was changed to International Commodities Clearing House ICCH in 1971. The ownership passed to a consortium of six British Banks in 1980. In 2003, the company merged with Clearnet SA to form LCH Clearnet Group. It is the second largest clearer of bonds and repos in the world, and has more than 50 per cent of the global interest rate swap market.
