| Die Kooperative für den Transport wurde 1936 in Alessandria, Piemont, gegründet. Die etwas patriotische Vignette lässt sich mit der in diesem Jahr erfolgten Besetzung Äthiopiens durch das faschistische Italien erklären. Der Name der Gesellschaft geht auf Santorre de Santarosa (1783 - 1825) zurück. As this was the year in which Fascist Italy invaded Ethiopia, it might be the reason for the design being a little patriotic.
