The proceeds of this bond (40 millions Francs) were uset to build the 167 miles long railroad from Cheng-Ting-Fou (province Tchßeli) to Tai-Yuan-Fou (capital of the province Chan-Si). There was a connection to the Peking-Hangkow line. The Banque Russo-Chinoise floated the bond in Shanghai and Paris. This can probabliy be the reason for the hight rarity of this paper!
