 Der Inhaber der Anleihe hatte das Recht auf eine unter Carlos V ausgegebene Spanische Anleihe aus dem Jahr 1834 im Nominalwert von 1.000 Francs, obwohl bisher nur 150 Francs eingezahlt worden waren. Allerdings regierte zu dieser Zeit in Spanien Isabella II. Ihr Vater Ferdinand hatte nur Töchter und so hätte sein Bruder Carlos zum Thronfolger ernannt werden müssen. Doch Ferdinand änderte die Thronfolgeregelung zugunsten seiner Tochter Isabella. Daher musste Carlos ins Exil und versuchte dort Finanzmittel für den Kampf um den spanischen Thron zu sammeln. Die Kämpfe gingen als Carlistenkriege in die Geschichte ein.
History (English)
 The bearer of the bond had the right to a bond of 1,000 Francs in the Spanish Royal Loan of 1834, contracted by Charles V, although only the first two instalments of 150 Francs in total were paid. Isabella II was the Spanish regent at that time. Her father Ferdinand had had only daughters. That meant, that his brother Charles (Carlos) would become Spanish king. But Ferdinand changed the order of succession in favour of his daughter Isabella. There Carlos went into exiles, and raised money for the fight for the Spanish Crown. That wars were known as Carlist Wars.
