 Chicago, 30.09.1903, 100 Shares of Capital Stock of US-$ 100, #A3856, 20,3 x 29,7 cm, grün, schwarz, loch- und stempelentwertet, Vignette mit George Mortimer Pullmann, ausgestellt auf und rückseitig signiert von Charles Hosmer Morse (1833 - 1921). Morse war ein US-Geschäftsmann und Philathrop. Ab 1850 arbeitete Morse für Thaddeus Fairbanks. 1870 übernahm Morse die Chicagoer Filiale von Fairbanks. Diese firmierte fortan als Fairbanks Morse and Company. Die Firma stellte eine große Palette an industriellen Erzeugnissen her. Kunden waren vor allem Farmer und mittelgroße Betriebe. 1958 wurde die Firma von der Penn-Texas Corporation übernommen.

 Chicago, 30 September 1903, 100 Shares of Capital Stock of US-$ 100, #A3856, 20.3 x 29.7 cm, green, black, hole and stamp cancelled, vignette with George Mortimer Pullmann, issued to and signed on back by Charles Hosmer Morse (1833 - 1921). Morse was an American businessman and philanthropist. He started working for Thaddeus Fairbanks in 1850. 20 years later, Morse took over the subsidiary in Chicago which became Fairbanks Morse and Company. The company produced a large variety of industrial products, customers were farmers and mid-scale companies. The company was taken over by Penn-Texas Corporation in 1958.

 Pullman war ein bekannter amerikanischer Erfinder und Hersteller von Schlafwagen. Seinen ersten Schlafwagen baute er 1859 und damit ein Jahr nach Theodore Woodruff. Allerdings übernahm Pullman später Woodruffs Firma.
