 Die Ho Hong Bank wurde 1917 gegründet. Sie war die erste chinesische Bank, die in Malaysia internationale Bankgeschäfte anbot. 1932 fusionierte sie mit zwei weiteren Banken zur Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation.

 The Ho Hong Bank was founded in 1917. It was the first Chinese bank in Malaya to engage in international banking. It merged with two other banks in Singapore to form the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation in 1932.
