Histoire (Allemand)
 Da Walratöl (Oleum Cetacei), welches aus dem Gehirn des Pottwals gewonnen wird, zu jener Zeit teuer war, verlegte sich die Firma auf die künstliche Produktion des begehrten Stoffes. Das gewonnene Öl wurde für die Herstellung von Pharmazeutika, Kosmetika und Parfüms verwendet.
Histoire (Anglais)
 Spermaceti (Oleum Cetacei) is a wax present in the head cavities of the sperm whale. In the 1850th Spermaceti was very expensive and therefore the company produced artificial Spermaceti. The Oil was used in the pharmaceutical industry and for perfumes.
